Tornado Body Dryer LLC is an Indiana limited liability company established in May 2009 and headquartered in Noblesville, Indiana. We sell the Tornado Body Dryer — the first in-shower, hands-free warm-air body dryer designed for North American bathrooms — to homeowners, care facilities, hotels, spas and gyms across all 50 states and Canada.
The product does one thing: it dries you without a towel. Step out of the shower into the warm air and you’re dry in about three minutes, with no reaching, bending or balancing. For many customers that’s a luxury. For people living with arthritis, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson’s, spinal injury, limb difference or the effects of ageing, it’s the difference between showering independently and needing help.
Ownership and leadership
Michael Porter — Owner and Chief Executive
Michael Porter acquired Tornado Body Dryer LLC in September 2026 and has led the company since September 2026 as its owner and chief executive, responsible for strategy, sales, operations and the company’s growth across the United States and Canada.
Michael brings twenty years in the accessible bathing industry from the United Kingdom, where the body dryer was originally developed. He grew up in his family’s bathroom manufacturing business in the North West of England and went on to found and run bathroom supply and adaptations companies of his own, designing, supplying and installing accessible bathrooms and wet rooms for private customers, care providers and public-sector bodies. He has specified body dryers into hundreds of accessible bathrooms and knows the product from the wall bracket up.
He has invested his own capital in Tornado Body Dryer LLC to relaunch the brand in North America, rebuild its digital presence, secure US product certification and establish the company’s distribution and installer network.
Where we’re going
Tornado Body Dryer LLC is in a period of deliberate growth. Our current priorities are:
- US product certification — obtaining ETL listing for the North American market, which opens commercial, healthcare and government procurement to the Tornado Body Dryer.
- A North American distributor and installer network — partnering with bathroom installers, remodelers, electrical contractors and accessibility specialists across the USA and Canada. Become a distributor.
- Commercial and institutional sales — care homes, assisted living, hotels, spas, gyms and veterans’ facilities. Tornado Body Dryer LLC is a registered vendor in SAM.gov (CAGE Code 6LF48) for government purchasers.
