How this is calculated
Towels per year = showers per day × days open × 52 × towels per shower. Laundry cost = towels per year × cost per towel. The dryer's running cost assumes 0.15 kWh per 3-minute drying cycle, one cycle per shower, at your electricity rate. Net saving = laundry + replacement − running cost. Payback = install cost ÷ monthly saving. Assumes the dryer replaces towel drying for the showers entered; some users keep a small hair towel. Figures are estimates for guidance only.
